Front End Manager

Front End Managers are responsible for all guest service at the Front End. They ensure that service standards are met and that guest issues are resolved. Front End Managers will maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing company standards and procedures. They will communicate and model the standards for guest service. This position is responsible for maintaining open communication on the status of the department with the Store Directors, Clerks, and Supervisor. You will be expected to set and re-set priorities, distinguish between the urgent and the important, solve problems, hold and reconcile ideas and lead program development as well as advancement strategies from conception through cultivation to completion.
Full time/Part time, hourly position. Must be available weekdays, weekends, holidays for various shifts, evenings and on occasion work at another store location. Must be available to adjust schedule to meet business demands.

Ensures clerks exemplify superior guest service with a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude, using product knowledge and information to answer all questions guests may have about products
Assists in managing Front End operations
Performs a variety of duties including supervision of Cashiers and Service Clerks duties and responsibilities
Assists the Store Director with preparation of schedules
Help supervise, develop, and manage Cashiers and Service Clerks
Responsible for making sure items not purchased are restocked properly
Responsible for making sure perishable items not purchased are returned to their respective coolers immediately to avoid shrink
Accountable to complete Front End forms and reports
Must be able to count cash
Assists the Store Director as necessary to train and maintain a qualified front end staff
Must be ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
Always maintaining compliance with all Buy For Less policies and regulations pertaining to safety, sanitation, and merchandising
Communicates and works cooperatively with Store Director, Department Managers, and Team Members to maintain standards and exceed guest expectations
Maximizing sales through excellent guest service and minimizing shrink through proper utilization of procedures
Other duties as required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
